Can my child testify?

Generally, the answer is no, your child should not testify. One of the things that were always concerned about is the paramount importance of the children, which is why we say no they shouldn’t testify and there are some circumstances that allow the children to testify those are usually highly contested cases and special circumstances that are involved. So, if you want to know if your child would qualify to testify, you’d want to speak with a quality family law attorney to make that determination.
